FRIDAY THE 13TH Writers Developing New Horror Film at Paramount

The writing team behind the Friday The 13th remake, Damian Shannon and Mark Swift, are developing a new untitled horror film at Paramount Pictures. All that we know at this point is that the film will be set in a high school. Any other details are being kept under wraps. Shannon and Swift will not only write the script they are attached to direct it as well, which would make this their first time directing a feature film.

I didn't really care for the remake of Friday The 13th; it's nothing that we already haven't seen before. I like horror movies, and I hope that whatever this writing duo comes up with will be something original and different. Do you have any ideas for a horror film that you'd like to see get made?
