Oscar Isaac Joins THERESE Opposite Elizabeth Olsen
Oscar Isaac (Drive, Sucker Punch) has joined the cast of Therese. Deadline reports that the actor will star opposite Elizabeth Olsen, Jessica Lange, and Tom Felton in the drama. Olsen plays Therese, "a woman trapped in a loveless marriage to her sickly first cousin, Camille (Felton), and living with his mother (Lange). She begins an illicit love affair with Camille’s friend Laurent (Isaac), which leads to a tragic outcome for all three." The film is based on the Emile Zola novel Therese Raquin. Charlie Stratton adapted the book and will direct.
Isaac just wrapped the Coen Brothers' Inside Llewyn Davis. He next stars in The Bourne Legacy, and Ten Year, an ensemble cast that includes Channing Tatum and Anthony Mackie. Isaac was good in Drive and I am looking forward to seeing him in Bourne Legacy.
Do you think that this sounds like a good role for Isaac?
