Jake Gyllenhaal To Join the Revenge Thriller MOTOR CITY
Jake Gyllenhaal might end up starring in a revenge thriller called Motor City. The actor is currently in negotiations with Dark Castle Entertainment and Warner Bros. to join the project. Gyllenhaal would be replacing Dominic Cooper, who dropped out of the project, and joining the previously cast Gary Oldman, Amber Heard, and director Albert Hughes.
The movie is "about a small-time hood (Gyllenhaal) who is framed and sent to prison by a drug trafficker, only to relentlessly exact revenge years later to get back the woman he loves."
The last time we saw Gyllenhaal was in Source Code, and he has David Ayers’ cop drama End of Watch in the can. I think he's a solid actor that would be great in a movie like this, so I hope everything works out and he's officially cast in the movie.
