Casting News: Jennifer Aniston - WE'RE THE MILLERS and Paula Patton - 2 GUNS

Movie Casting by Joey Paur

Jennifer Aniston is in talks to join a new raunchy comedy at New Line Cinema called We're the Millers. According to Deadline, the movie is "about a pot dealer who pulls together a fake wife and two kids to pose as an RV road-tripping family so that he can smuggle 1000 pounds of pot cross country." There's a possibilty that she'll be joined by her Horrible Bosses co-star Jason Sudekis. Aniston would play the fake wife, who’s actually a hooker, and Sudekis would play the pot smuggler.

The movie is set to be directed by Rawson Thurber (Dodgeball), and it's described as being a "warped Vacation" kind of film. The movie comes from a script written by Wedding Crashers scribes Bob Fisher and Steve Faber. I really enjoyed Aniston in Horrible Bosses, and hopefully now she'll start picking better film projects to work on.

Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol co-star Paula Patton is in talks to star along side Denzel Washington and Mark Whalberg in the upcoming adaptation of the graphic novel 2-Guns. The story comes from Boom! Studios, and it's set to be directed by Baltasar Kormakur (Contraband). The script for the movie was written by Blake Masters and here's a description of the story. Patton proved that she could kick ass in Ghost Protocol, so maybe she'll get a chance to do it again in 2-Guns.

2 Guns is a pulp story about cops and thieves and the men that are something in between. In the graphic novel, Trench has targeted a local bank to rob, and asked Steadman in on the job. Trench figures it's a great way to score – considering it's a cover for mob money. They'll be thieves ripping off thieves. But what Steadman doesn't know is that Trench is a DEA agent. And what Trench doesn't know is that Steadman's got his own secret and isn't who he appears to be.
