Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes to Take Over HALLOWEEN Franchise

According to Bloody-Disgusting Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes production company is in discussions to end up taking over the Halloween franchise. They will be taking over any future sequels, and it wont include that 3D movie that was being developed, that movie is dead. It makes complete sense that they would want this franchise in their film library as they've rebooted several other classic horror film franchises.

The report says that Platinum Dunes is currently looking at writers and directors to take on the project which means that Todd Farmer and Patrick Lussier, who were attached to direct the 3D version, are no longer attached. I'm completely fine with that as their previous films are utter crap, such as My Bloody Valentine and Drive Angry

Directors Brad Fuller and Andrew Form have worked with Platinum Dunes on several of their horror projects such as The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Amityville Horror, Friday the 13th and A Nightmare On Elm Street.

Platinum Dunes' Brad Fuller and Andrew Form are responsible for remakes of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Amityville Horror, Friday the 13th and A Nightmare On Elm Street. They've also developed original films such as The Unborn and Horsemen. They'll obviously be involved with the production of Halloween, and are currently developing the futuristic horror film Vigilandia, and the latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles adaptation.

What do you think of Platinum Dunes taking on the the Halloween franchise?
