Right before the season premiere of Game of Thrones season 2 on Sunday, April 1st, HBO aired a new teaser trailer for the upcoming fifth season of True Blood. The promo trailer gives us the first footage ever shown for the latest season. The cast of characters for the series includes Sookie (Anna Paquin), Jason (Ryan Kwanten), Sam (Sam Trammell), Eric (Alexander Skarsgard), and Bill (Stephen Moyer).

Here's the brief synopsis:

Mixing romance, suspense, mystery, and humor, the Emmy-nominated show takes place at a time when vampires have come out of the coffin and follows the on-and-off romance between waitress and part-faerie Sookie Stackhouse (Paquin), who can hear people’s thoughts, and 173-year-old vampire Bill Compton (Moyer).
