Cool Art from THE AVENGERS Art Show Coming to L.A.

For those of you Avengers fans who live in the Los Angeles area, you're in luck! Marvel and Disney have teamed up up with Gallery 1988 to bring us an official Avengers art show. The show will be packed full of original art celebrating the release of the epic movie. Some of the artists that will be giving us Avengers art greatness includes; Rhys Cooper who created the image above, Dave Perillo, DKNG, Scott Campbell, Luke Chueh, and Fernando Reza among others.

The show will take place on May 3-6, and will be open from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. with an opening reception from 7-10 p.m. May 3 at 7021 Melrose Ave., Los Angeles CA. Vsit Gallery1988.com for more information. Make sure to check back later, because more art from the show will be released sometime soon.

Marvel Studios announced today that Gallery1988 in Hollywood, Calif., will mount a show of art inspired by the Marvel Super Heroes featured in the highly anticipated, summer event movie “Marvel’s The Avengers.”  The show, sponsored by Visa Signature, will run through the film's opening weekend, from May 3 through May 6, 2012.

Gallery1988, which opened in 2004, is known worldwide for its dedication to
