Pixar's BRAVE - Great New Full Trailer and Film Clip
Disney has released a wonderful third full-trailer for Pixar's incredible looking CG animated film Brave. The trailer give us a little more detail on the story and some of the plot points. It also shows off some great new footage. There's also a new clip from the film to watch called Eyes on the Pies. It features Merida's little triplet brothers getting into some trouble after she teaches them how to shoot a bow and arrow.
I'm very excited about this new Pixar movie. I think it's going to end up being one of their best films to date. It's just got all of the elements of a great story, and it looks so damn beautiful. The thing I like about it most is the fact that it's different than any of the other Pixar films that have been made. It's got that classic dark fairytale tone that Disney use to create in their early days of 2D animation.
The CG animated adventure was beautifully directed by Mark Andrews and Brenda Chapman, and the characters were voiced by Kelly Macdonald, Emma Thompson, Billy Connolly, Julie Walters, Kevin McKidd, Craig Ferguson and Robbie Coltrane.
The movie hits theaters on June 22nd, 2012. Watch the clip and trailer then let us know why or why not you think this could be the best Pixar movie to date.
Here's the Synopsis:
Since ancient times, stories of epic battles and mystical legends have been passed through the generations across the rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland. In "Brave," a new tale joins the lore when the courageous Merida (voice of Kelly Macdonald) confronts tradition, destiny and the fiercest of beasts. Merida is a skilled archer and impetuous daughter of King Fergus (voice of Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (voice of Emma Thompson). Determined to carve her own path in life, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the uproarious lords of the land: massive Lord MacGuffin (voice of Kevin McKidd), surly Lord Macintosh (voice of Craig Ferguson) and cantankerous Lord Dingwall (voice of Robbie Coltrane). Merida's actions inadvertently unleash chaos and fury in the kingdom, and when she turns to an eccentric old Wise Woman (voice of Julie Walters) for help, she is granted an ill-fated wish. The ensuing peril forces Merida to discover the meaning of true bravery in order to undo a beastly curse before it's too late.
