Official Trailer for the Adrian Brody Pot Comedy HIGH SCHOOL

TrailerMovie Comedy by Joey Paur

The official trailer has been released for the pot comedy High School. I saw this film up at Sundance two years ago, and it's finally getting released! I thought this movie was great, and I think many of you might enjoy it as well. Here's what I had to say in my review,

The movie is just as good as it sounds! I had such a great time watching this film, it was just a fun high school comedy adventure, and it hits all the right notes as it plays out. The movie definitely has the makings of being a classic comedy film, one of those movies that people will watch for years to come and quote lines from. It’s got that same feel as many other classic High School films, but this one takes things down a hysterically darker road. The movie was extremely funny, and it had me and the audience laughing through most of the film.

On of the main things I like about the movie though was Adrian Brody's character Psycho Ed. It's a role we've never seen him in before, and he plays it as insanely as possible. Michael Chiklis (The Shield) also plays a interesting over-the-top character.

Here's the Synopsis:

The day after soon-to-be valedictorian Henry Burke (Matt Bush) takes a hit of the chronic for the first time, his school principal (Michael Chiklis) institutes a zero tolerance drug policy and administers a mandatory drug test for all students. Henry has two options: fail and lose his college scholarship, or team up with his stoner friend Breaux (Sean Marquette) to beat the system. They steal a high powered ganja from law student-turned-drug-dealer Psycho Ed (Adrien Brody) and spike the school's bake sale brownies, getting the whole school--faculty included--completely stoned out of their minds. But with the student body getting higher and higher with every brownie, and a pissed-off Psycho Ed on their tails for stealing his stash, they must find a way to keep their half-baked plan from going up in smoke.

The movie will hit theaters Jine 1st, 2012. Watch the trailer, and let us know if it's some you'll want to check out!
