I'm a huge fan of the Silent Hill franchise, I've enjoyed playing the video games and watching the film that was made. I'm also excited for the upcoming sequel to the movie. It's just such an insane world of bloody madness.

Here's a cool fan-made short film created by two Tokyo-Based Australian filmmakers named Hamish Downie and Paul Leeming, who sent us this video to share with you. The short was shot on location in an abandoned mining town in the mountains of Japan.

According to the filmmakers, "It was shot to mimic the in game POV camera and as a fan, I wanted to make it as accurate as possible to the world of Silent Hill, so there's lots of little nods to various parts of the mythology for those interested."

Watch the fan film below and let us and the filmmakers know what you think about it!
