Maggie Simpson Will Star in 3D Theatrical Short Before ICE AGE: CONTINENTAL DRIFT

CartoonBrew brings word that on last night's season finale of The Simpsons, it was announced that perpetual baby Maggie Simpson will star in her own 3D short called The Longest Daycare that will play in theaters before Ice Age: Continental Drift.

There's not much known about this short quite yet, but it will be the first time Maggie has graced the big screen since The Simpsons Movie came out back in 2007 (man, that doesn't seem like it was five whole years ago). David Silverman, who directed the feature film, helped create the TV show, and directed a bunch of episodes for it, seemingly tweeted confirmation that he'll be directing The Longest Daycare earlier today, so fear not - Maggie is in good hands.

Does the fact that this short is playing in front of Ice Age: Continental Drift influence your decision of whether or not to see it in theaters?
