Nicholas Stoller to Direct Seth Rogan and Zac Efron in TOWNIES

Movie by Joey Paur

The Five-Year Engagement director, Nicholas Stoller, is currently in negotiations to direct the new Seth Rogan and Zac Efron R-rated comedy Townies. Universal Pictures paid over a million bucks for the movie pitch by writers Andrew Cohen and Brendan O'Brien back in July of last year.

Apparently the comedy will have the same tone of Old School. Rogen plays a regular guy who lives near an alpha male fraternity house. Efron is a member of the fraternity, whose raucous behavior wreaks havoc on the other guy's family life.

I'm not the biggest fan of Efon's films, but it might actually be kind of fun and fitting to see him play a jackass. It would be awesome to see Rogan kick his ass as well. I'm just trying to look on the bright side of things.
