BLADE RUNNER - Awesome 1982 Convention Behind the Scenes Video!
One of the coolest things about going to conventions like Comic-Con is getting to watch awesome footage from the films we're excited about seeing! We eat that stuff up, and it's exciting to see! I never went to these conventions when I was a little kid, at least I don't remember going to them, but they were doing the same thing in the 80's as they are doing now, it's just done on a much bigger scale now.
If you're a fan of of the film Blade Runner you're going to love this video. It's a 1982 behind the scenes video created to show at geek conventions during that era. I've never seen this video until today, and it's pretty freakin' awesome!
One of the Blade Runner Convention Reels featuring interviews with Ridley Scott, Syd Mead and Douglas Trumbull about making Blade Runner universe. This 16 mm featurette, made by M. K. Productions in 1982, is specifically designed to circulate through the country's various horror, fantasy and science fiction conventions.
Scott is currently developing the sequel to this movie, and I have no doubt that it's going to be awesome. In the mean time we can always go back and watch the original film, which is what this video makes me want to do. Enjoy!
