Amber Heard and Sofia Vergara Join MACHETE KILLS
Robert Rodriguez is pulling together yet another great cast for Machete Kills. He recently landedMel Gibson to play a villain in the movie, got Michelle Rodriguez and Jessica Alba to reprise their roles along side Danny Trejo. He has now managed to talk Amber Heard and Modern Family's Sofia Vergara to be in the movie as well.
The sequel features our hero Machete being "recruited by the U.S. Government for a mission which would be impossible for any mortal man. Machete must battle his way through Mexico to take down a madman cartel leader and an eccentric billionaire arms dealer who has hatched a plan to spread war across the planet with a weapon in space. Machete takes on an army in an effort to dismantle a plan for global anarchy."
Vergara would take on a leather-clad character named Madame Desdemona, whose Mexican harlots have information that Machete needs. Heard will play a manipulative assassin code-named Miss San Antonio.
The movie starts production later this month, and it's sure to provide us with some more action-packed over-the-top violent entertainment.
