Disney Announces AVENGERS 2 Is in Development

This comes as absolutely no surprise to anyone, but Disney CEO Bob Iger just announced that the studio is officially developing a sequel with Marvel. This is the biggest no brainer in the history of mankind. It will be released after we see Iron Man 3, Thor 2 and Captain America 2.

Iger said that the film’s success “is a great illustration of why we like Marvel so much.” No shit? It's only made over $700 million dollars in 12 days. Of course you like Marvel! It's going to be awesome to see what they do with these characters next! It's going to be hard to top this first Avengers movie, but with Joss Whedon at the helm, I'm sure they'll be able to top it.
