ENTOURAGE Movie To Start Shooting in January?
Fans of the HBO series Entourage have been patiently waiting to see their favorite characters up on the big screen. Everyone involved with the series is excited to get it made, including producer Mark Wahlberg who said he would finance the film himself if he had to and that it's on the fast-track to production. As for the show's creator, Doug Ellin, he's hard at work finishing up a script for the movie.
According to the website Hypable, a source close to production says that they will actually start shooting the movie in January of 2013! So it looks as if the fans of the show wont have to wait much longer. Here's what Wahlberg had to say about the movie in an interview with GQ,
I think a 90-minute movie of sheer craziness—the guys getting back to just being about the guys, you know? Lose the ladies. Go crazy. Give people what they want.
Jeremy Piven, who plays Ari Gold in the series, talks about his character, and basically how they set his character up for a movie,
We’re teed up for a movie in a way that, you know, Ari has this conundrum that he’s facing, which is either to rule the world or to honor his love to his wife.
Even if they don't hit the production date of January 2013, at least we know the movie is still moving forward and it sounds like it's going to happen in the near future! Are you excited to see the boys make their way to the big screen?
