Jamie Foxx To Play The President in WHITE HOUSE DOWN

Jamie Foxx could be playing the President of the United States in Roland Emmerich's new thriller White House Down. He is currently in talks for the role, and if he is cast he'll join Channing Tatum who plays a single father Secret Service agent who has to rescue the President during a paramilitary takeover in DC. It's been described as "Die Hard in the White House."

There's another film project with the same premise being developed by Millennium Entertainment called White House Taken with Gerard Butler attached to star. If both of the movies are made it's going to be interesting to see different versions of the same story. I'm not the biggest Emmerich fan, so I'm rooting for the Butler movie to be the better film.

Foxx is currently playing the title role in Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained. Can you see Foxx playing the President of the United States?
