HBO Announces BOARDWALK EMPIRE Season 3 Premiere Date

HBO has announced that the third season of its awesome Prohibition drama, Boardwalk Empire, will premiere on Sunday, September 16th and 9pm. This is an incredible show, and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens in season 3. I've got to admit I was pretty shocked by how season 2 ended. I hate when they kill off my favorite characters! Steve Buscemi, Kelly Macdonald, and Michael Shannon will be back for 12 more episodes.

The popular cable network also announced that the 10-episode third season of their New Orleans based drama Treme will premiere on Sunday, September 23rd at 10pm. The series stars Wendell Pierce, Khandi Alexander, Clarke Peters, Rob Brown, Steve Zahn, and Melissa Leo.
