Josh Trank Confirmed to Direct FANTASTIC FOUR

Early this year Chronicle director Josh Trank was rumored to direct the reboot of Fantastic Four, today that rumor becomes truth. Deadline reports that Trank is now officially set to direct the movie! Chronicle was a fun film, and I'm curious to see what Trank ends up doing with the Fantastic Four.

The new film will be a complete reboot with a full new cast, which means we can expect to see yet another superhero origin story. 20th Century Fox plans to start shooting the film after The Wolverine, which starts production soon, as well as the X-Men: First Class sequel which is also on a fast track to production.

Trank has attached himself to several projects, such as the big screen adaptation of the video game Shadow of the Colossus. But, it sounds like Fantastic Four will be the next movie he directs.

I didn't really care for the first couple of Fantastic Four films, so I'm open to see something a lot better. Do you think Trank is a good choice to direct the movie, and are you excited to see a reboot?
