Open Road Films has released the first official trailer for Silent Hill: Revelation 3D, and it makes the movie look a lot better than what we were shown at Comic-Con. I'm not sure why they didn't show this trailer there, I think it would have gotten a lot more positive buzz. The stuff they showed us was pretty terrible, but this trailer got me back on board, and I'm a little excited about seeing this movie again.

Silent Hill: Revelation was written and directed Michael J. Bassett, and it stars Adelaide Clemens, Sean Bean, Kit Harington, Radha Mitchell, Deborah Kara Unger, Carrie-Ann Moss, Malcolm McDowell, Martin Donovan and Heather Marks.

I loved the first film, and think it is one of the best video game adaptations made. I hope this one turns out just as good. It's definitley got the terrifying Silent Hill tone.

Here's the Synopsis:

The story follows Heather Mason, along with her father, who have been on the run - always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn't fully understand. Now, on the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by horrific nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she's not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her in Silent Hill forever.

The movie hits theaters on October 26th, watch the trailer and let us know if you think it looks good!
