So, it turns out that SDCC 2012 just got a little bit more exciting. We are about to see 007 hit the floor at San Diego Comic-Con in honor of the franchises 50th anniversary. In honor of the anniversary MGM and Fox are bringing along some Bond Vehicles, some props from the various movies, and are also giving us the opportunity to pre-order the 22 film collection on Blu-ray. Here is a little bit of the press release of what we can expect to see this year:

The vehicles include the flying Parahawk from The World Is Not Enough and the gadget-filled Aston Martin Volante from The Living Daylights. MGM and Fox are keeping the other cars a surprise for fans. The mine bomb from GoldenEye, a first-edition hardback book of Dr. No., an ax from A View to a Kill, a Bollinger champagne bottle from License to Kill, a nerve gas vial from Moonraker and a fillet of soul menu from Live and Let Die will be among the props displayed

This is going to be a huge temptation for me. I am super excited to see all this stuff, and anything else they bring. Although Skyfall will not have any panel at the convention, this is a good step forward. Hopefully more companies will see the effect that SDCC has on the movie world and we will receive more movie content in the years to come.  Who else is excited to see this Bond booth? Until next time…
