Marvel to Start Shooting ANT-MAN in London After THOR 2

Movie MarvelAnt-Man by Joey Paur

When Marvel showed their fans at Comic-Con the test footage Edgar Wright shot for Ant-Man and revealed the logo art for it, we knew that a Ant-Man movie was going to happen. They didn't really officially announce the film, or give it a release date, but the development was obviously far enough along to get fans pumped up that it was coming.

Thanks to our friends at Latino Review, we've learned that Marvel plans on to start shooting Ant-Man in London as soon as they're done filming Thor: The Dark World. So it seems that as soon as Wright is finished directing the next Simon Pegg and Nick Frost film, The World's End, he will jump right into Ant-Man in late spring/early summer 2013. It's looking like the goal for the studio would be to release the movie in 2014, making it the third major Marvel release that year.

The test footage shared at Comic-Con was pretty awesome, and it looks like it will make for an extremely entertaining action-packed funny movie. You can read our short description of the footage here

Are you excited to hear that Ant-Man will be moving into production?
