3D Glasses for THE HOBBIT Revealed

Apparently, these are the limited edition RealD 3D glasses that will be handed out to audience members going to see Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey this December. I think they look big, bulky, and uncomfortable.

Earlier this week, Jackson officially announced that he would be making a third Hobbit film giving us three more incredible movies to add to the Middle Earth cinematic universe.

Thanks to HobbitFilm.it for pointing these out to us. What do you think about these Hobbit 3D glasses? I think I'll just stick with the regular ones.

The first installment, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, is set for release on December 14th. The second film, called The Hobbit: There An Back Again, is set to hit theaters on Dec. 13th, 2013. I've heard that they are planning to release the third film in the summer of 2014.
