First Look at Russell Crowe in Darren Aronofsky's NOAH

This is our first look at Russell Crowe as Noah in director Darren Aronofsky's biblical passion project Noah. He pretty much looks like what I imagined Aronofsky would have wanted him to look like. Aronofsky is a fantastically talented director, and I can't wait to see his vision of this story, especially since he's dreamt about doing this since he was 13-years old. 

The movie tells the crazy epic biblical tale of a prophet who is told by God to build a giant boat that can carry two of every animal from the earth to save them from a giant flood that will destroy every living thing on Earth, so that they could start a new beginning. The reason for the flood? The world just got way too evil. 

The movie co-stars Jennifer Connelly, Anthony Hopkins, Ray Winstone, Douglas Booth, Emma Watson and Logan Lerman. 

Aronofsky has been very active using his Twitter account to post updates and photos from the production of the film. The movie is set to be released on March 28th, 2014.
