MAD MAX: FURY ROAD - Cool Art, Props, Costumes and Cars!

Director George Miller is currently in the process of developing his long awaited new Mad Max: Fury Road movie with Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron. Thanks to AICN, we have some new behind the scenes photos from the apocalyptic film giving us a look at some of the awesome crazy designs we'll be seeing in the film. The photos show off some of the cool concept art, props, costumes and cars that we'll eventually see in action up on the big screen. 

The story follows Mad Max as he catches "up with a group of people fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by the Imperator Furiosa. This movie is an account of the Road War which follows. It is based on the Word Burgers of the History Men and eyewitness accounts of those who survived." 

I love the Mad Max franchise, and I can't wait to see Hardy in the lead role kicking ass. I think he's a great replacement for Mel Gibson, and will end up bringing some crazy energy to the character, which he does for all of his movies. Here's a full rundown of the cast and who everyone is playing...

Tom Hardy (The Dark Knight Rises) in the title role of Max Rockatansky, Charlize Theron (Monster, Prometheus) as Imperator Furiosa, Nicholas Hoult (X-Men: First Class) as Nux; Hugh Keays-Byrne (Mad Max, Sleeping Beauty) as Immortan Joe; and Nathan Jones (Conan the Barbarian) as Rictus Erectus. Collectively known as The Wives, Zoë Kravitz (X-Men: First Class) plays Toast, Riley Keough (Magic Mike) is Capable, andRosie Huntington-Whiteley (Transformers: Dark of the Moon) is Splendid. They are joined by supermodel Abbey Lee Kershaw as The Dag and Courtney Eaton as Fragile, both of whom are making their big screen debuts. Also featured in the movie are Josh Helman as Slit, Jennifer Hagan as Miss Giddy, and singer/songwriter/performer iOTA as Coma-Doof Warrior.
