A cool looking new theatrical poster for Rian Johnson's highly anticipated time travel sci-fi thriller Looper has been released. It features Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis. I've liked most of the poster that have been released for the movie. The designs aren't recycled like most studio designed posters. These actually have some character. I'm very excited about this movie, and I think it's going to end up being one of the best of the year.
Here's The Official Synopsis:
In the futuristic action thriller Looper, time travel will be invented – but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target 30 years into the past, where a “looper” – a hired gun, like Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) – is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good… until the day the mob decides to “close the loop,” sending back Joe’s future self (Bruce Willis) for assassination. The film is written and directed by Rian Johnson and also stars Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, and Jeff Daniels. Ram Bergman and James D. Stern produce.
Looper also stars Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, Noah Segan, Piper Perabo, and Jeff Daniels. It arrives in theaters on September 28th, 2012. Here's the trailer!
I can see the Superman emblem shape kinda... and the "S" kinda... I belive it's just geeks with active imaginations looking for somthing that they hope ties these movies together.
Looks like a case of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apophenia
Just so you know Nolan on several ocasions has said that "The Dark Knight Rises" and "Man of Steel" will not have ties to each other the way the Marvel films do.
To clear up any futher confusion I've added the Rumor tag to the post.
