Director Paul Haggis (Crash, The Next Three Days) is putting together one hell of a great cast for his next film project titled Third Person. He's already cast Liam Neeson ands Olivia Wilde in the film, but now he's bringing on Mila Kunis, Casey Affleck and James Franco who are all currently in negotiations.
The story follows "three inter-connected love stories of three couples in three cities, Rome, Paris and New York." The Italian-set segment revolves around a young couple on a road trip, to be played by Affleck and Moran Atias. Neeson and Wilde will play writers in the Paris-set section of the film. Kunis will play one half of an estranged couple in New York, with Franco playing her partner in the segment. Haggis had this to say in a statement,
These are complex characters in a challenging story; I'm humbled that so many talented people have placed their faith in me.
It's rare for me to find a romance film that I like, most of them I can't stand. Two love stories that I really enjoyed are The Notebook and Love Actually. Third Person has a wonderful cast, and Haggis is a solid writer and director, so hopefully this turns out to be another romance movie I will enjoy. What is one of you favorite romance films, and do you think this will end up being a good flick?
