STAR WARS and CARS Crossover Art Revealed by Disney

Disney has revealed that they are developing a fun collection of die cast vehicles and pins featuring a crossover of Star Wars and Cars! The announcement came during the Star Wars Celebration VI by the studio's Consumer Products and Design Group, when they revealed five of the six designs they have planned.

Inside The Magic reports that "there will be six character crossover sets, including Lightning McQueen as Luke Skywalker, Mater as Darth Vader (Darth Mater?), Tractor as a Stormtrooper, Sally as Princess Leia, and Luigi and Guido together as C-3PO and R2-D2. The sixth will be revealed some time during the 4-day event at Disney’s booth, where collectible cards are also being distributed for each of these new characters."
