Would a SPACE JAM 2 feature LeBron James?

After checking my computer's calendar multiple times to make sure it's not April Fools Day, I decided to go ahead with this story. One of the most nostalgic films of the '90s was Space Jam, a feature film cash-in of the popular Nike commercials featuring Looney Tunes characters and NBA superstar Michael Jordan. While the film performed well at the box office and indeed has its fans, many consider Joe Dante's Looney Tunes: Back in Action to be the superior film, despite it performing worse box-office wise. Now, a new NBA superstar wants in on a new sequel to Space Jam: LeBron James.

James is a fan of Space Jam and jokingly admitted on Twitter, he'd love to star in a sequel. Now, I'm sure LeBron James is an immensely talented basketball player, despite many who are angry at him. However, James clearly knows nothing about Hollywood. Warner Bros. IS NOT developing a Space Jam 2. They were in the late '90s/early '00s but it was going to star Jackie Chan and be titled Spy Jam (the story of which eventually became Looney Tunes: Back in Action). Now, traditional animation is all but dead in Hollywood (with Walt Disney Animation Studios being the sole holdout). A new Bugs Bunny film is supposedly in the works, but no word has been heard from it since it has been announced. Is LeBron merely chasing the footprints of Michael Jordan or has he lost his mind and actually wants to do a Space Jam 2?
