Cobie Smulders Joins Vince Vaugn in STARBUCK

Cobie Smulders, from The Avengers and How I Met Your Mother, has been cast along side Vince Vaughn in the comedy Starbuck.

In the film Vaughn plays "a middle-aged man whose life is turned upside down when he learns he has fathered 533 children through sperm donation. When a few hundred of the children express an irrepressible need to meet their father, the donor codenamed Starbuck, he must decide whether he will step up and reveal his identity."

Smulders will play Vaughn’s pregnant girlfriend in the story. She's heard of the Starbuck story but has no idea that Vaughn's character is the man behind the myth. Chris Pratt (Moneyball, Five Year Engagement) also has a part in the film. 

Starbuck is a remake of a French-Canadian film, and the director of that original film, Ken Scott, will write the script and direct the studio adaptation as well. I never saw the orignal, but it sounds like it will make for a funny comedy.
