Marty McFly's Truck Saved by Fans

When most people think of Back to the Future, they think of the famous DMC-12 DeLorean time machine. However, it's not the kind of vehicle Marty thinks is "stylish". He would prefer his 4x4 Toyota truck. However, after the filming of Back to the Future Part III, the Toyota itself was almost lost to the ravages of time.

That's where two diehard BTTF fans come in. Joe Walser and Terry Matalas of Time Machine Restoration (a vehicular restoration group specializing in BTTF-style DeLoreans) managed to locate the truck in Southern California. Apparently, after filming, the truck was stolen from Universal and recovered by Mexican federales! The guys found an autograph written to the original owner of the truck by Michael J. Fox himself, "Many thanks! See you on something else I'm sure. Michael J. Fox". This truck is the only screen-used BTTF truck available.

It's cool these guys were able to get the truck and I know they'll take good care of it. Personally, I'm more in love with the DeLorean than I am with the truck, but that's just me. The only thing left to say now is, "How 'bout a ride, mister?"

No author bio. End of line.
