AMC has released a series of character portraits for The Walking Dead Season 3. I've got to admit, everyone in the photos look pretty moody. I guess they have reason to be, they now live in a world overrun with flesh eating zombies. I can't wait to see what kind of problems Carl causes this season.

Here's short synopsis of the next season:

In the highly anticipated new season, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and his fellow survivors continue to seek refuge in a desolate and post-apocalyptic world and soon discover that there are greater forces to fear than just the walking dead. The struggle to survive has never been so perilous.

The first part of the 16-episode season will start on October 14th. We'll get eight episodes of greatness before there's a little break. The second part of the season will return February of 2013 with the last eight episodes.
