First Footage from Chan-wook Park's STOKER

The first footage from Chan-wook Park's first English-language film Stoker has been released, and it looks like it's going to be good. It's got a very unsettling tone to it, and it looks like Park has made another great movie. It's got a great cast that includes Mia Wasikowska, Matthew Goode, Nicole Kidman,  Dermot Mulroney and Jacki Weaver

After India's (Wasikowska's) father dies in an auto accident, her Uncle Charlie (Goode), who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her emotionally unstable mother (Kidman). Soon after his arrival, she comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives, but instead of feeling outrage or horror, this friendless girl becomes increasingly infatuated with him.

The script for the film was written by actor/writer Wentworth Miller. This is the same Miller that starred in the TV series Prison Break, and the movie Resident Evil: Afterlife. I imagine the footage shown here is just the tip of the iceberg. Knowing Park's work this is sure to be a very dark and twisted movie.

The movie is set to be released on March 1st. What do you think of this first footage? Does it look like it's going to be good?
