Travel Poster Art for Movies from the 1980's

Here's an awesome collection of travel poster art based on several of our favorite movies from the 1980's. The illustrations were created by Tom Whalen and Dave Perillo.

These are part of a travel poster art show being put on by Gallery 1988 called Around the World In An ’80s Daze. All the art involved represents locations from several famous ’80s films and TV shows. Stuff like The Terminator, Caddyshack, Vacation, A Nightmare on Elm Street and Thundercats.

The show opens at 7 p.m. September 28th at Gallery 1988 Venice, 214 Pier Ave., Santa Monica, CA. It remains on display through October 20. For hours and more info, visit gallery1988.com.
