James Gandolfini and Steve Carell to Star in THE BONE MEN

Movie Steve Carell by Joey Paur

The Sopranos star James Gandolfini is teaming up with Steve Carell in a new comedy called The Bone Men. According to Showbiz411 the actors will play a pair of paleontologists from the late 1800s, and Gandolfini says “It’s very funny.” Apparently Fox2000 and HBO are interested in picking up the project.

There's no other information of the story, but I love the basic concept, and I'm looking forward to seeing how they build on it.

In the meantime Gandolfini is working on an HBO pilot called Criminal Justice and will next be seen in Killing Them Softly with Brad Pitt. As for Carell, he's been working on a ton of movies such as The Way, Way Back; Despicable Me 2, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone and is prepping up to shoot Foxcatcher, Frank or Francis and Anchorman 2.

There's no word on when The Bone Men will get made, but it's something I'm looking forward to seeing get made! What do you think of the story concept?
