Cool Concept Art For Upcoming Pixar Films!

Here's a great set of concept art that Pixar has released teasing several of their upcoming CG animated films! Pixar always manages to pump out great films, and I'm looking forward to seeing all of the films represented here.

This first image above give us our first look at The Good Dinosaur, which is being directed by Bob Peterson. Here's the description:

What if the cataclysmic asteroid that forever changed life on Earth actually missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct?

The film is set to be released on May 30th, 2014.

This next piece is from Pete Docter's Untitled Pixar Movie That Takes You Inside the Mind. The official description is as follows...

From director Pete Docter ("Up," "Monsters, Inc.") and producer Jonas Rivera ("Up"), the inventive new film will take you to a place that everyone knows, but no one has ever seen: the world inside the human mind.

The movie comes out on June 19th, 2015.

Then there's the untitled Pixar movie about Dia de los Muertos or The Day of the Dead. The Lee Unkrich directed film has been described as follows,

From director Lee Unkrich and producer Darla K. Anderson, the filmmaking team behind the Academy Award®-winning "Toy Story 3," comes a wholly original Pixar Animation Studios film that delves into the vibrant holiday of Día de los Muertos.

This movie is set to be released sometime in 2016.

The final piece of artwork comes from Pixar's next film, Monsters University, which is a prequel to Monsters Inc., and it's art that we've already seen before. Billy Crystal, John Goodman, Steve Buscemi, Dave Foley, Julia Sweeney, Joel Murray, and Peter Sohn are all voicing characters in the film which is set to hit theaters on June 21, 2013.

Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan are an inseparable pair, but that wasn’t always the case. From the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn’t stand each other. “Monsters University” unlocks the door to how Mike and Sulley overcame their differences and became the best of friends.
