ENTOURAGE Movie Gets the Green Light from Warner Bros!

Entourage is officially set to be developed for the big screen! Warner Bros. has given the big screen adaptation of the hit HBO comedy the green light! How freakin' cool is that?! This is actually happening, I know a lot of people didn't think it would, but I've always held out for hope.

Series creator Doug Ellin is set to direct the feature film, and the full cast of the show is expected to return. Deals are currently being worked on for Adrian Grenier (Vincent Chase), Kevin Connolly (Eric “E” Murphy), Kevin Dillon (Johnny Drama), Jerry Ferrara (Turtle), and Jeremy Piven (Ari Gold).

It was previously reported that the film's story will pick up six months after the series ended, in which Ari ended up taking a job as the head of a major studio. Ellin previously had this to say about the film,

There are interesting developments about Ari as a studio head, and that’s still the first page for me. But foremost is the friendship between the guys who are still hanging out and going to fun parties, and it continues with the same characters.

The series ran for eight seasons on HBO between 2004 and 2011, and I'm excited that we're actually going ot get to see these characters up on the big screen!
