THE PRINCESS BRIDE Fire Swamp Fan Art
The Princess Bride is one of those great classic '80s films that never seems to get old. It's one of the few that just gets better with time. Here's an awesome piece of fan art for the film created by Jeff Victor called "As You Wish...," and it features the characters Westley and Buttercup about to take on some Rodents of Unusual Size in the Fire Swamp. A tribute to one of my favorite movies, The Princess Bride. Doing these tribute pieces is a good way to try and improve at digital painting. I included screenshots of my process below. I thought it would be fun to give this one a slight Tangled vibe, since Princess Buttercup could, in another life perhaps, have been a Disney princess.
