OLDBOY - New York Comic-Con Poster
FilmDistrict has released a New York Comic-Con poster for Spike Lee's Oldboy remake. I'm really hoping this movie exceeds my expectations. I'm sure we'll get to see some more footage of the film while we're here at NYCC, and that is going to be their big shot to actually sell me on this movie.
Oldboy is a provocative, visceral thriller that follows the story of an advertising executive (Josh Brolin) who is abruptly kidnapped and held hostage for 20 years in solitary confinement. When he is inexplicably released, he embarks on an obsessive mission to discover who orchestrated his bizarre and torturous punishment only to find he is still trapped in a web of conspiracy and torment.
The movie also stars Elizabeth Olsen, Sharlto Copley, James Ransone, and Samuel L. Jackson. Oldboy opens in theaters on November 27th.
