IRON MAN 3's Ty Simpkins Cast in JURASSIC WORLD
Ty Simpkins has been cast in director Colin Trevorrow's Jurassic World. For those of you who don't remember, Simpkins played the kid who befriended Tony Stark in Iron Man 3, and he will have a leading role in this film. Other actors currently in talks for the film are New Girl's Jake Johnson and Bryce Dallas Howard. Neither of them is officially locked in yet.
Trevorrow will shoot the film in 3D, and Universal Pictures is planning to release it on June 12th, 2015. Who knows what to expect from the movie, but judging from the title, it sounds like dinosaurs will be a world wide thing.
Simpkins most recently appeared in Insidious: Chapter 2. He seems like a solidly good young actor, and I'm sure he'll end up doing a great job in the movie.
