BATMAN: ARKHAM ORIGINS Gameplay Walkthrough: Watch The Bat in Action
The developers over at WB Games have given us a sneak peek of their upcoming game by releasing the first sixteen minutes of a gameplay walkthrough for Batman: Arkham Origins. The in-depth video is commentated by Senior Developer Ben Mattes and Gameplay Director Michael McIntyre. They talk extensively about the story and gameplay mechanics, so those who are worried about spoilers should stay away.
The gameplay is similar to what we saw at E3, but it covers more ground and even shows off the Batcave. The game looks gorgeous and very fun. I don’t know if glide-kicking thugs will ever get old. The dialogue with Alfred seemed off, so hopefully that gets touched up a little before release. One of the biggest changes looks to be the addition of a fast travel system, since the world is about twice the size of Arkham City. This is a welcome addition, since navigating huge world maps can become boring pretty quickly. Imagine traveling through all of Skyrim without a fast travel system. Ugh.
Batman: Arkham Origins looks very entertaining and I can’t wait to play it when it gets released on October 25th.
