2 Photos from CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER
While we patiently wait for the first teaser trailer to be released tomorrow, here are two new official photos from Captain America: The Winter Soldier. It's safe to assume these photos will be in the teaser. I really hope they show you the elevator fight sequence from the above photo, because it's badass. Co-director Joe Russo had this to say in a statement with USA Today,
"There's nobody better at that kind of stuff than Marvel if you're going to attempt to pull that off and go for it. We all tried to up the ante with what happens in this movie in terms of what's come before, and I think we've done that.
It's one of the best comic runs in the last 20 years, one of our favorite comic runs of all time, and we really want to do it justice. It was important to us to make sure he just jumped off the page to the screen."
The movie is set to be released April 4th, 2014.
After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy.
