First Look at Ben Foster as Lance Armstrong
This is our first look at Ben Foster in one of the two Lance Armstrong films being made. The as yet untitled movie is being directed by Stephen Frears, and "it will tell the story of Armstrong’s battle with testicular cancer in the mid-1990s to the unraveling of his image in the last several years due to the use of performance-enhancing drugs."
Chris O'Dowd is playing Irish sports journalist David Walsh, who first raised questions about Armstrong's performance. Jesse Plemons of Friday Night Lights and Breaking Bad is also in the film and will most likely play one of Armstrong's US Postal Service teammates, but that's not confirmed.
The screenplay was written by John Hodge, who has worked with director Danny Boyle on films such as Trainspotting and Trance, so it's safe to say that the script and story are going to be tight.
