One thing I'm truly happy that I didn't hear from my mom growing up is her telling me to go in my closet where a bleeding crucifix was waiting to scare the shit out of me.

The new clip from Kimberly Peirce's highly anticipated adaptation of Stephen King's Carrie features Margaret White (Julianne Moore) forcing Carrie (Chloe Grace Moretz) into a closet and locking her in. So if evil parents start locking their kids in creepy closets, they can alway blame the movies for their bad behavior.

The movie comes out on October 18th!
