5 Character Posters for AMERICAN HUSTLE
Five new character posters have been released for David O. Russell's American Hustle, featuring Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper, Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner, and Jennifer Lawrence.
American Hustle is set in the 1970s and is based on the true story of an FBI sting Operation called Abscam which involved a notorious financial con artist (Bale) and his partner (Adams). They were forced to work with an out of control federal agent (Cooper) to turn the tables on other con artists, mobsters, and politicians. They helped take down some U.S. Congressmen. The corruption case initially targeted trafficking in stolen property but was converted to a public corruption investigation that stretched from Atlantic City to Washington, DC. Renner plays the New Jersey state assembly leader, the center of the story, who is also the local hero and mayor of impoverished Camden.
The movie gets a limited release on December 13th.
