Jason Isaacs Joins David Ayer's WWII Tank film FURY

A couple of weeks ago we got our first look at the cast of director David Ayer's World War II tank film, Fury, featuring Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Michael Pena, and Jon Bernthal. They now have a new team member. Jason Isaacs (Black Hawk Down, Harry Potter) has joined the cast. He will play a "confident captain and veteran on the team that Pitt's character looks to for advice."

Fury takes place in 1945 as the Nazi regime collapses. The story follows the five man crew of an American tank called Fury who battle a desperate German army. The director previously said that the goal is to "bring a fresh execution to the genre," adding, "What these men went through is worthy of a complex, honest portrayal. This will have incredible, visceral action and complex rich characters. I plan to bring tank combat to life in a way that lands with a modern audience."

David Ayer has made some pretty great movies in his career, and I'm really excited about this one.
