THE RAID 2 Has Begun Filming - Photos
The Raid 2 has begun production, and we've got the first photos from the set thanks to Collider. Gareth Evans is directing the sequel that features silat, the badass Indonesian fighting style that blew audiences away in the first film. Iko Uwais will reprise his role as Officer Rama. The story starts right where the first film ends and "follows the officer as he goes undercover and infiltrates the ranks of a ruthless Jakarta crime syndicate in order to protect his family and uncover the corruption in his own police force."
Sony Picture Classics is set to release the sequel in the United States. The Raid 2: Berandal, the Indonesian title, is expected to film for 100 days.
