Robert Downey Jr. to Produce Sci-Fi Film BLACK MIRROR

Robert Downey Jr. is set to produce a really cool sounding sci-fi thriller called Black Mirror for Warner Bros. The movie will be based on the Channel 4 British anthology series. They picked up the rights to one of the episodes titled "The Entire History of You"and will use it as a jumping point to develop a feature film.

The episode "centers on a man with an implant that allows him to record and re-watch all of his life experiences. He begins to suspect his wife is having an affair and obsessively tries to find evidence until the relationship falls apart." According to THR the story that the film will tell is set in a "near future where technology that allows users to re-experience past events, and follow a man who reconstructs his relationship to his dead wife - from her point of-view - and unknowingly uncovers a vast conspiracy.

This sounds like it could end up being a great film. Downey is not attached to star in the film, but as it gets closer to the production there's always the chance that he might. The episode of the series was written by Jesse Armstrong who was also hired to write the feature script.
