David Fincher's 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA Moving Forward without Brad Pitt

David Fincher's big screen adaptation of 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea: Captain Nemo has been inching towards production since 2010. At one point it looked like Brad Pitt would be joining the film production. THR now reports that Pitt isn't going to do it, but that production is moving toward a green light!

The studio is currently looking at shooting the film in Australia, and at this point they are just waiting to finalize details about the shoot, and some production incentives before they move forward and give the movie the green light. It looks like it's going to happen soon though which is really exciting! I've been excitedly waiting for this movie to happen since it was announced!

Fincher has been working with screenwriter Scott Z. Burns on adapting Jules Verne’s classic novel, and I have no doubt it's going to be incredible if everything goes as planned.
