GeekTyrant is Blue For Colon Cancer Awareness Month

GeeTyrant's logo is blue today to help raise awareness of colon cancer.

My brother-in-law Jackson Dunbar lost his fight with colon cancer on September 14th, 2012 at the age of 30. Had he been diagnosed earlier, his odds of beating it would have been higher.

Members of the GeekTyrant team will be participating in the 2013 San Diego Undy 5000 on March 9th to increase awareness and promote early detection.

1 in 20 of all people will be diagnosed with colon cancer. If detected early, many forms are treatable. 90% of all cases of colon cancer can be prevented by getting screened, but that's only if you get screened.
